Career History

William Palmer is the Executive Vice President of the Central Region. Mr. Palmer is responsible for the overall direction of Arch’s Central region--managing the region’s business development, distribution, staff and general operation. He joined Arch in 2002.

Mr. Palmer spent several years with Travelers Insurance where he worked as a Commercial Lines Underwriter. He also held various positions at General Star Management, where responsibilities included managing the Excess Department in both New York and Chicago. Additionally, Mr. Palmer helped organize the Combined Specialty start-up venture prior to his tenure at Arch.
