Career History

Dennis R. Brand is Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Arch Insurance Group. In this role, Mr. Brand oversees Reinsurance, Finance, IT, Actuarial, Arch Advantage, Corporate Underwriting, Human Resources, Legal and Premium Audit. He joined Arch in 2004 as Senior Vice President and Chief Reinsurance Officer. Beginning his career in insurance accounting, Mr. Brand has 30 years of insurance industry experience.

During his career, he held positions first on the Assumed Underwriting side of the business, then Ceded Reinsurance, as well as serving in various other operational roles in the industry. His extensive reinsurance and executive management experience prior to Arch was gained through positions held at Kemper and Reliance.
