Career History

Michael L. Kmetz, is the Senior Vice President of Global Property. In his current role, Mr. Kmetz is responsible for the strategic leadership of the global property division, development of a superior underwriting and service team, distribution expansion, and product development for commercial property customers. He joined Arch in 2001 to launch the New York Region Global Property Operation.

Prior to joining Arch, Mr. Kmetz specialized in large lines commercial underwriting and began his career with the CIGNA/ACE training program, focusing on multinational and global accounts. At CIGNA/ACE, he gained over 13 years of market experience, working in New York, Chicago and San Francisco, and managed all domestic, international and global business for ACE’s Western region. Mr. Kmetz was the Assistant Product Line Officer at ACE Philadelphia before joining Arch.
