Career History

Amy Flanagan is the Senior Vice President and Chief Ceded Re Officer at Arch. She oversees the design and placement of reinsurance contracts that support the underwriting units, the accounting between Arch and the reinsurers, and claim reporting to the reinsurers. She joined Arch in 2006.

Prior to Arch, Ms. Flanagan worked as a Reinsurance broker at Guy Carpenter for three years. Prior to Guy Carpenter, she worked in the Ceded Reinsurance departments at Kemper and Reliance National. She started her insurance career as an Underwriter at CIGNA.
