John Rafferty is head of the Executive Assurance division of the Financial & Professional Liability Group. Most recently, Rafferty was a Vice President at Hartford Financial Products, a division of The Hartford Financial Services Group specializing in D&O, E&O and management liability related lines, where he had responsibility for its underwriting operations. He came to Hartford in 2000 with the acquisition of the Reliance D&O/E&O business. At that time, Rafferty was responsible for the unit’s Midwest Region as well as its Emerging Markets Department. He started his career at CNA in Chicago.
